What are TerraSana Farms Car Diffusers?

Our car diffusers are a simple way to add fragrance to your vehicle without a traditional hanging air freshener. Each reusable glass diffuser slowly releases fragrance through the wooden cap, allowing you to refresh the scent whenever you want a little more.

They’re small, long-lasting, and available in a variety of scents ranging from fresh and clean to fruity, floral, warm, and masculine.

What scents are currently available?

Our current car diffuser collection includes:

Sea Salt & Orchid – A fresh, airy blend with soft floral notes and a clean coastal feel.

Baja – Bright, tropical, and energetic with a warm vacation-inspired feel.

Vanilla Lavender – Soft lavender blended with warm, creamy vanilla for a smooth, relaxing fragrance.

Do you offer seasonal scents?

Yes! Our car diffuser collection is designed to change throughout the year.

In addition to our regular fragrances, we introduce seasonal scents and occasionally retire or rotate existing ones. You'll see brighter, tropical and fresh fragrances during the warmer months and warmer, cozier scents as we move into fall and winter.

Because seasonal scents are always changing, a fragrance you see at one market or on the website may not always be available later.

If you find one you love, don't assume it will be around forever!

How do I activate my car diffuser?

Remove the wooden cap and carefully remove the plastic stopper from inside the bottle. Replace the wooden cap tightly.

Briefly turn the bottle upside down to allow a small amount of fragrance oil to soak into the wooden cap, then immediately turn it upright again.

Hang the diffuser from your rearview mirror and adjust the cord so it hangs securely.

You do not need to keep tipping the bottle every day. Refresh it only when you notice the fragrance beginning to fade.

How do I make the scent stronger?

When you'd like a fragrance boost, briefly tip the diffuser upside down to allow the wooden cap to absorb a little more fragrance.

A little goes a long way. Leaving the bottle upside down for too long can oversaturate the wooden cap and increase the chance of leaking.

Remember that heat also affects fragrance strength. Your diffuser may smell noticeably stronger inside a warm vehicle than it does on a cool day.

How long does a car diffuser last?

There isn't one exact lifespan because temperature, sunlight, how often the diffuser is refreshed, and individual fragrance blends can all affect how quickly the oil is used.

Rather than continuously saturating the wooden cap, refresh it only when needed. This helps you control the fragrance strength and can help your diffuser last longer.

Why does one scent seem stronger than another?

That's completely normal. Different fragrance blends naturally have different scent strengths.

Fresh and lighter fragrances may feel softer, while woodsy, warm, sweet, or heavily fragranced blends may seem stronger even when the same amount of fragrance is used.

Your own sense of smell also plays a role. If you're around the same fragrance every day, you may temporarily become less aware of it even though other people can still smell it.

Can I control how strong my diffuser smells?

Yes. That's one of the advantages of this style of diffuser.

For a lighter scent, refresh the wooden cap less frequently.

For a stronger scent, briefly tip the bottle when you notice the fragrance fading.

If you're sensitive to fragrance, start slowly. It's much easier to add more fragrance to the wooden cap than to remove it once it becomes oversaturated.

Does hot weather affect my diffuser?

Yes. Heat can make fragrance evaporate more quickly and can make the scent noticeably stronger.

During very hot weather, refresh your diffuser less frequently and always keep the bottle upright when you're not actively refreshing the wooden cap.

Can the fragrance oil damage my vehicle?

Fragrance oils can damage or discolor certain plastics, vinyl, leather, painted surfaces, dashboards, consoles, or other interior finishes.

Always keep the diffuser upright and immediately wipe up any spills.

Do not allow the bottle or saturated wooden cap to rest against your dashboard, console, upholstery, or other interior surfaces.

Can I use my car diffuser somewhere other than my car?

Yes. Some customers also enjoy them in small spaces where a hanging diffuser is appropriate.

Keep the bottle upright and away from children, pets, fabrics, finished surfaces, open flames, and excessive heat.

Can I refill my diffuser?

Our diffuser bottles are reusable, but only refill them with a product specifically formulated for use in this type of diffuser. Do not add water, essential oils, perfume, or household fragrance products to the bottle.

Why does my diffuser seem like it stopped smelling?

Before assuming it's empty, try gently refreshing the wooden cap.

You may also be experiencing nose blindness, which happens when you're exposed to the same fragrance for an extended period and your brain begins paying less attention to it.

Try leaving the vehicle for a while and checking again later. You may be surprised by how noticeable the fragrance still is when you return.
